I am a peruvian evolutionary biologist currently undertaking a PhD at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (Argentina), with research based at the Laboratory of Entomology of the Argentine Dryland Research Institute (IADIZA, CCT CONICET Mendoza).

My research centers on the systematics and taxonomy of Neotropical and Andean rove beetles (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae). I integrate fieldwork, morphology, molecular biology, and phylogenetic analysis to investigate their evolutionary relationships and species diversity.

My PhD thesis investigates the evolution of myrmecophily and termitophily in the Neotropical Philonthina rove beetles.
